2012 Poconos Events - Watch for more!
January - Learn to ski day at various locations throughout the Poconos. This event occurs during the first week of January. For about $10 dollars folks new to ths sport can learn to ski. Watch new news or this space for more details.
February - Ice Tee Golf Tournament on Lake Wallenpaupack. Golf 9 holes on frozen Lake Wallenpaupack.
March - Beach Party Weekend at Camelback Ski Resort. During the second weekend in March, join us in the lounge and on the slopes for skiing in shorts, summer drinks, and bathing suits in the bar. Camelback's sister city (Ocean City, NJ) sends sand, life boats and sometimes the Ocean Patrol to convert the lounge area into a Beach Party. Squirt guns have geen banned! (Probably cause they were to000oo much fun)
St Patrick's Day Parade - from Stroudsburg High School to Dansbury Depot. The Sunday after St Patrick's day. Mrching bands, fire Departments and Politicians.
Great Brews of America Beer Festival - Split Rock Resort The 10th Annual Great Brews From Around The World International Beer Festival, scheduled to take place in April , 2008 from 1PM to 5PM. This indoor event will feature 30 of the world's finest breweries, along with fabulous music and crafts. Food purveyors offering international menus will also be in attendance, and seminars related to International beer topics will be featured.
Poconos Greatest Celtic Festival May You don't have to be Irish to enjoy the Poconos Celtic Music Festival at Jack Frost Mountain. This music festival is a hodgepodge of a Celtic summer music festival and an Irish fair, complete with lots of singing, dancing, and specialty foods. Enjoy the crowds and atmosphere at this unique Irish & Celtic music festival.

Wine and Food Festival June , The
17th Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine and Food Festival - The
two day outdoor festival, held from 12 to 6pm on the grounds of Split
Rock Resort located in beautiful Lake Harmony, will feature continuous
musical entertainment on three separate stages, up to 30 of Pennsylvania's
finest wineries and a wide selection of food vendors to tempt your tastebuds.
Educational Seminars will be held during the Festival so check them out
and learn some new things about wine.Split Rock also offers a weekend
package for our overnight guests. Each Festival attendee will receive
a commemorative wine tasting glass, and you must be over 21 to be served.

Pocono Blues Festival has the reputation of bringing in the best national artists, with a focus on contemporary and traditional acoustic or electric blues, southern soul, and sacred steel music.

Celebration of the Arts Festival - Delaware Water Gap, PA Friday - Sunday - September "I have a dream, that musicians will be known in the Delaware Water Gap, like the trees are known. Something that is forever." - co-founder Phil Woods - many times Grammy winner. The Delaware Water Gap Celebration of the Arts is a non-profit organization founded by Phil Woods, Rick Chamberlain and Ed Joubert in 1978 to foster an appreciation of jazz and its relationship to other artistic disciplines. COTA's major focus is its outdoor arts Festival held annually the weekend after Labor Day. Participating musicians, artists, and vendors are from the area of the Pocono Mountains. Besides showcasing many nationally recognized musicians and artists who have chosen to live in this scenic area, the COTA Festival also provides an opportunity for talented, though lesser-known, musicians to be recognized.

Annual Ice Festival during President's Weekend - Downtown Stroudsburg, PA 18360 - Bundle up for this Downtown Stroudsburg festival to celebrate the season of love with romantic dining, shopping, and the enchanting display of ice sculptures. Downtown Stroudsburg will be hosting the Annual Ice Festival during President's Weekend on Saturday. There will be an ice carving demonstration from noon until 3 p.m. on the corner of 7th and Main Street and there will be numerous other sculptures along Main Street. There will be amazing three dimensional ice sculptures displayed throughout Downtown Stroudsburg in front of many of the great stores. Be sure to watch the live ice carving demonstration.
