Deck Scene - Pocono Brewing Company, Rt. 611, Swiftwater , PA On the deck enjoy a southern smokehouse-themed menu with unique BBQ. Also, fresh salads, seafood, chicken, and beef entrees, as well as burgers, and sandwiches. The Deck bar offers all the basics of an indoor bar but allows you to enjoy it under the stars. There is a romantic outdoor fireplace and they have heat lamps to take the chill off of any cool evenings

Dive Bar - hmmm.. maybe the Minisink on River Road between Delaware Water Gap and Shawnee? 110 Post Office Rd Minisink Hills, PA 18341 Guess so. Since the management at the Pocono Pub is too proud to want the title. But then again, if you're embarrassed to admit you're a dive bar.... maybe you aren't. Nice out of the way location hidden off a creek in Minisink. The typical country bar with the typical bar menu of burgers, cheese steaks, fries etc... worth the drive and a good break from the norm.

First Date Spot - day - Civil - Brunch at Skytop. Less civil - Horse racing at the Down's in Eagle Glenn Mall in East Stroudsburg - Even less civil - The Pub at Werry's (We'd suggest darts and Coors Light). Night - Dinner at The Stone Bar and Billards at Gallary Billiards on Rt 611 Bartonsville.

Jazz Club - The Deerhead, Main Street, Delaware Water Gap . They've lost Johnny. But, we think you can still here his music resonate from the walls during the breaks. For the best in jazz, local and imported, The Deerhead rules. If you go every week for 3 years you'll get to sit on each barstool 5 times. Stay close to the action, as sometimes the noise can drown out the sound of the Grammy.

The Poconos Best Musicians - Nancy and Spencer Reed - Nancy and Spencer's unique brand of vocal and instrumental styling has been enjoyed by audiences for over 30 years. Their forte is their vocal blend, with tight yet natural phrasing and unusual harmony. Both grew up in New York City and started their musical collaboration as teenagers in the Bronx. They were influenced by the classic performances of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, Carmen McRae and Jackie and Roy. Their audience is always treated to a warm, relaxed vibe yet the music is swinging and intense.
